FORZE became the last team to advance to the quarterfinals of EPL S17

FORZE exceeded the expectations of the viewers, ultimately taking first place in Group D in ESL Pro League Season 17 and advancing to the tournament quarterfinals. In the upper bracket final, they easily defeated ENCE without much resistance.

ENCE's defeat on Overpass with a score of 3:16 was a big shock. Although it is not the worst map for the Europeans, they could have shown a much better defense. On their Anubis map, the Finnish club's players looked more threatening, but once again their CT side let them down (10:5 in favor of the Russians), giving FORZE enough rounds to win 16:13.

As for the best player, it was zorte, largely thanks to his powerful performance on Overpass, where he played 21-5 with a rating of 8.9. It is noteworthy that he never died first throughout the game.

When does the playoffs start?

The next stage of the tournament will begin on March 21 with the Round of 16. Four matches will be played on that day: two at 16:30 and two more at 20:00. The pairs have not yet been determined, but the draw will be held after the Astralis - Liquid match in the lower bracket final, which is already live.
