FURIA overcome ENCE to secure first place in Group B at ESL Pro League

The fourth day in Group B at ESL Pro League has started, and the first and most important match of the day has come to a close.

FURIA faced ENCE. Both teams won every match till this point and were fighting for first place in the group in this standoff.

ENCE picked Nuke and started the match with a confident performance on the T side. The second half wasn’t easy for them, but they still managed to finish their pick 16-11.

FURIA chose Vertigo and didn’t hesitate after the defeat on the opponents’ pick. Brazilians were winning round after round and finished the half 9-6. ENCE resisted in the second half, but FURIA quickly regained control of the game and won the map 16-11.

The decider was Mirage. ENCE started on the CT side and showed domination. It was a comfortable side for the Finnish team, and they managed to win ten rounds before the sides switched. However, FURIA were much stronger in the second half. Brazilians started their comeback from 12-5, winning ten rounds in a row and taking the last round after losing the first match point. The decider ended 16-13 in favor of FURIA.

FURIA take the spot in the quarterfinal, while ENCE are going to fight for second place in Group B tomorrow.
