G2 and Cloud9 earned their second victories on BLAST.tv Paris Major European RMR B

The last BO1 series in Group B of the European RMR has ended.

The last 4 BO3 series in group B of European RMR have ended, and now each team is either one step away from the Major or one step away from RMR relegation. G2, Cloud9, FORZE, and BIG are now closer to the tournament in Paris.

Another tough match for G2

Even though G2 still managed to go 2-1, it cannot be said that the road was easy. Yesterday the team lost to 9INE with a score of 16-14, and today the situation is mirrored in the match with Aurora. It also ended with a score of 16-14 but in favor of G2. At the same time, the game was so dangerous that the team could lose it at any moment. Of course, this is a victory, but it once again shows that G2 is no longer the team we saw at the beginning of the season, and getting to the majors is still not something for them to take for granted.

G2 continues its uncertain path to RMR.

Overtime during Cloud9 vs. Eternal Fire match

But it was not only G2 who had problems in the third round. The second favorite also won his match with difficulty. The first half was an absolute disaster for Cloud9 - Eternal Fire won it 11-4, after which C9 had to make a long comeback. And the team did it - the game was transferred to overtime, which they easily won 19-16. An excellent comeback. However, such a performance makes one wonder - how Cloud9 will fight against stronger teams.
