Hooxi: "Before IEM Sydney we lost every practice" - G2 players' reaction after elimination from Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023

Today G2 Esports had a phenomenal loss to Complexity Gaming in the semifinals of the Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 and especially for you we have collected all the players' reactions to the championship elimination.

G2 team captain Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen said the following:

We're doing great right now. To be honest G2 lost all the practices until IEM Sydney 2023. I'm surprised we're in the playoffs, but it's a pleasant surprise.

Also commenting on his defeat was team riffler Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač:

Thanks for the great support and sorry for not showing up at all today, you guys were great. Great game Complexity and good luck in the finals!

However, team sniper Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov reacted like this:

It seems like the worst game we've ever played.The worst game, I think, in my time in G2. Some people forgot strats, some people made a lot of mistakes. We will be stronger next time and see you at the next championship.

Complexity Gaming made it to the final of the championship, where tomorrow at 10:30 Kyiv they will start their final championship match against the winner of FaZe Clan/MOUZ!

And G2 Esports took 3-4th place for which they received $20,000 per team.
