IEM Dallas: Semifinals results

The IEM Dallas playoffs have started, and after the first two matches there are only four teams left in the tournament.

In the first quarterfinals, G2 faced FURIA.

The first map was competitive, but ended in favor of G2 with a score of 16-13. On the pick of FURIA, the European mix dominated the first half, but could not continue the performance after the sides switched. In one round from the G2 victory, FURIA transferred the game into overtime and won the map 19-17. Andon the decider, the Brazilians destroyed their opponents 16-5. The best player of the match was yuurih with a rating of 7.3.

In the second quarterfinal, FaZe fought Cloud9 for the spot in the semifinals.

On Overpass, picked by Cloud9, both teams did not allow their opponents to take a series of rounds, but FaZe were able to overcome and win the map 16-14. The game was also close on the next two maps, but this time Cloud9 won the last rounds and finished the match 2-1. The best rating was shown by Ax1Le - 7.5.

Cloud9 will face BIG in the semifinals, and FURIA are preparing for a match with ENCE.
