IKLA Refused to Postpone the Match Due to the Bombing of Ukraine - CCT Organizers Apologized And Promised to Change the Rules

The CCT Central Europe Series #3 championship organizers refused to postpone the match between K23 and IKLA. The power went out in two Ukrainian club players due to the massive shelling of the country's energy infrastructure. Cybersportsmen from K23 were okay with holding the match later.

The tournament operator, REPUBLEAGUE, could not satisfy the Ukrainian team's request due to the championship's current rules. Therefore, the players were asked to continue the match with two substitutes or take a technical defeat. IKLA finished the game with stand-ins, lost with a score of 0:2 (1:16 on Mirage, 11:16 on Overpass), and left the competition. Earlier, the team from Ukraine entered the playoffs with a 3:0 record.

REPUBLEAGUE acted under the tournament's rules and fulfilled its obligations to broadcast 100% of the playoff matches. CCT will change the rules and allow regional partners to postpone (under certain circumstances) and/or hold games outside of broadcast in such emergencies.
