The South American tournament CBCS 2023 Season 3 has concluded, with Legacy claiming the victory, featuring Marcelo “coldzera” David as the sniper. In the final, the team overcame paiN.
Almost all top South American teams gathered at CBCS 2023 Season 3, including BESTIA, Fluxo, Imperial, and RED Canids. However, some of them did not even make it to the playoffs, like Imperial, which had recently changed its roster.
Legacy's roster also underwent changes, just before the start of the tournament Lucas “nqz” Soares left the team. The team was unable to quickly find a new sniper, so coldzera took on the role. The Brazilian performed quite well: a rating of 6.4, making him the tenth best player of the event and the second-best player in Legacy.
The victory at CBCS 2023 Season 3 was the first in the history of the newly created Brazilian organization. For first place, the team received $10,201 and a slot at the CBCS Invitational 2023 with a prize pool of $102,017. In addition to Legacy, paiN and BESTIA are guaranteed to play at the event at the end of November.
