Liquid claimed the last slot in the "Legends" stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023

Liquid emerged victorious in the last match of the Challengers stage, defeating the Australian team Grayhound convincingly and earning their ticket to the Legends stage.

Both Anubis and Inferno played out similarly for Grayhound: a dominant first half followed by timid comeback attempts in the second half. However, even with at least one map won, it was not enough for them.

EliGE was the standout player of the match, ending with a 48-28 statistic and averaging over 100 damage per round.

Detailed statistics are available on the match page.

Liquid's victory has saved the American region from having only five slots in the next Major instead of six. If Grayhound had won, Asia and Oceania would have been allocated three slots instead of two.

It is worth noting that in addition to Liquid, the American region will also be represented in the Legends stage by FURIA. Their first opponents in the tournament will be Monte.
