Media: Rejin Close to Being Appointed Head Coach of TSM

Allan "Rejin" Petersen, a 36-year-old Danish coach, has already reached an agreement with the North American organization TSM to take up the position of head coach of their Counter-Strike 2 team. This position has been vacant since Rémi "XTQZZZ" Quoniam returned to the Vitality team. So far, there has been no official confirmation from TSM or Rejin himself.

Rejin, who was recently unemployed after being dismissed from his position as sports director of Sashi, previously worked as the head coach of the Endpoint team for a year. In addition, the Dane led MOUZ, with whom he won ESL Pro League Season 10 - Finals, CS:GO Asia Championships 2019, and ICE Challenge 2020.

He made headlines in September after successfully appealing to reduce his number of ESIC penalty points from eight to five, allowing him to coach again at majors after the completion of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.

TSM, which returned to Counter-Strike after a seven-year hiatus, is currently ranked 88th in the Valve world ranking. They have not lived up to the hype generated by their return and possible changes to the team lineup are expected soon, especially with the approach of the qualifying tournaments for the major in Copenhagen.
