Media: TSM Negotiating Transfer of Zyphon from Sprout

TSM is actively negotiating the acquisition of Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss from the organization Sprout. The German club confirmed on January 25 that the player was moved to the reserve in order not to hinder a potential transfer deal with another team.

In TSM, Zyphon is expected to replace Audric "JACKZ" Jug, who was moved to the reserve following the team's unsuccessful attempt to qualify for the closed European RMR qualifiers. Additionally, the team's results in other tournaments were not particularly impressive.

Since returning to Counter-Strike in August, TSM has been looking for stability in its lineup. Joel "Joel" Holmlund is on trial since Kai "CYPHER" Watson moved to BLEED, and Simon "KWERTZZ" Gorak is serving as a temporary stand-in.

Zyphon, who started his career at Astralis Talent, managed to make a name for himself during his 15-month stint with Copenhagen Flames, participating in two majors in Stockholm and Antwerp. After the tournament in Belgium, he joined Sprout. In 2023, Zyphon also played for Heroic as a substitute at BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2023.
