Monte - Champions of the CCT West Europe Series 3

Monte won the CCT West Europe Online Series 3, beating the team Apeks 2-0 in the finals!

The final game of the championship was between Monte and Apeks, two teams that were invited to the playoff stage and easily made it to the finals!

However, it should be noted that Monte immediately showed that they were the favorites in the finals, as they did not lose a single map in the tournament, unlike Apeks.

The final was played on two maps: Mirage and Anubis.

Monte easily won the first map, initially scoring a decent number of rounds on attack and then closing out their opponents with their solid defense. In the end, they took the map with a score of 16-12!

The second map was Anubis, where Monte defeated their opponents 16-13, almost giving up a comeback after being down 12-6 and bringing it back to 12-13!

Throughout the tournament, Sergiy Demqq Dimchenko showed an incredible game and was awarded the MVP award!

Sergiy's average rating was 6.9, and he ranked fourth among all players in the tournament in terms of average rating.

He also had the best rating among all his teammates.

Prize pool

In terms of the prize pool distribution, by winning the tournament, the Monte team earned $22,000, and Apeks, for second place, received $10,000! The rest of the prize places are as follows:

3-4 place - Looking4Org ($5,000)

3-4 place - HAVU Gaming ($5,000)

But after their victory, the team did not go celebrate, and instead continued to play in the ESL Challenger Katowice 2023: European Open Qualifier! They are true cyborgs!

Recall that the CCT West Europe took place from April 20 to May 4, 2023. A total of 48 teams participated in the tournament, competing for $50,000 and CCT points!
