Nemiga became the final participant of IEM Chengdu 2024, winning the IEM Chengdu 2024: European Qualifier. The team advanced to the grand final through the upper bracket.
And in the decisive match, they defeated Espionage. Unfortunately, three of the strongest teams, Falcons, Eternal Fire, and BIG, withdrew from the tournament, resulting in a significant drop in the level of competition.
IEM Chengdu 2024 will take place in China from April 8 to 14. Sixteen teams will compete in the tournament, sharing a prize pool of $250,000. The winner of the event will receive $100,000 and a slot in IEM Cologne 2024.
IEM Chengdu 2024 will take place after the Major, so some renowned teams like NAVI and Vitality have decided to skip it to rest after PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.
