Official: degster and NEOFRAG Leave OG

Today, Danish organization OG announced on their Twitter account that two of their players are leaving the roster. Abdul "degster" Gasanov and Adam "NEOFRAG" Zuhar have been put up for transfer and will be seeking new organizations.

How did degster and NEOFRAG make an impact in the team?

It's worth noting that degster joined the team in July of last year. As for NEOFRAG, he began his tenure with OG a bit earlier, in May 2022.

During their time together, the duo managed to accumulate a total of $345,000 in prize winnings. However, it's interesting to note that according to insiders, the buyout cost for Abdul "degster" Gasanov from Team Spirit was $300,000.

When considering salaries and other expenses, it can be speculated that the team has not yet recouped their investments in the player.

Throughout their time playing together, degster and NEOFRAG were only able to secure one tournament victory, namely the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022. OG defeated Astralis with a score of 2-0 and earned $27,500.

However, the team faced a major setback this year. Specifically, at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, OG finished in the 20th-22nd place! The team only managed to win one map against MOUZ - Ancient.

Who will replace the players?

According to insiders, the future lineup for OG may consist of the following players: F1KUregalinexaCYPHERJimpphat.

For now, the roster retains three players:

  • Shahar "flameZ" Shushan
  • Maciej "F1KU" Miklas
  • Kasper "ruggah" Due
