PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 Schedule and Results

This competition, scheduled from March 17th to 31st in Denmark's capital, will see 24 teams, including the likes of Team Spirit, Virtus.pro, and Cloud9, vying for a substantial prize pool of $1.25 million.

The tournament unfolds over three main stages: two group phases and the playoffs. In the opening round, 16 teams will battle it out Swiss-style until they achieve three victories or succumb to three defeats. The initial matches will be conducted in a best-of-1 format, but the high-stakes encounters for progression or elimination will escalate to best-of-3 showdowns.
The top eight teams from the group stage will advance to the Elimination phase, where they will face off against teams that have directly qualified via Valve's ranking. Like the preceding stage, this segment will adhere to a similar format, but this time, the top eight victors will march into the playoffs. The final chapter of the competition will see the remaining contenders clash in a single-elimination bracket, with all matches played as best-of-3s.
Prize Pool Distribution:
- 1st place — $500,000, 3,500 BLAST Premier points, and slots at the Esports World Cup 2024 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2024;
- 2nd place — $170,000 and 2,750 BLAST Premier points;
- 3rd-4th places — $80,000 and 1,775 BLAST Premier points;
- 5th-8th places — $45,000 and 1,050 BLAST Premier points;
- 9th-11th places — $20,000;
- 12th-14th places — $20,000 ;
- 15th-16th places — $20,000;
- 17th-19th places — $10,000;
- 20th-22nd places — $10,000;
- 23rd-24th places — $10,000.
