Plopski will replace nilo in Metizport at Global Esports Tour Rio

21-year-old Nicolas Plopski Gonzalez will replace Linus nilo Bergman on the Metizport roster for the upcoming Global Esports Tour Rio. Plopski is an experienced player who has competed in some of the biggest Counter-Strike tournaments. He spent three and a half years with Ninjas in Pajamas, making the major playoffs twice. However, after a string of disappointing results, he was removed from the team at the end of 2022.

Since then, Plopski has moved from team to team, joining GODSENT in early 2023. He helped them rise to 43rd place in the world rankings and even won the IESF World Championship 2023. But after GODSENT lost their sponsor and disbanded the team in March, Plopski found himself on the free agent market again.

This opportunity with Metizport is a chance for Plopski to prove himself and potentially earn a spot on the team. It will be interesting to see how he fits into the Metizport squad given the limited training time ahead of the tournament.
