Rocket have enlisted Ukrainian coach Alexander "Psycho" Zlobin for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: American RMR. Psycho, formerly associated with the team Akuma, which was at the center of a cheating scandal, has now joined Rocket as a coach. He began working with the team in April, but officially became a coach at the beginning of November.
Psycho is surrounded by controversy due to his work with Akuma, against whom allegations of unfair play were made after their unexpected success at the EPIC CIS League Spring 2021 RMR, where they defeated giants such as NAVI and Virtus.pro.
Additionally, ESIC started its investigation regarding the Akuma and Project X teams, where Psycho was also a coach, due to potential betting manipulations. Despite past controversies, Psycho has not faced any official sanctions and now brings his coaching experience to Rocket.
