PwnAlone leaving Party Astronauts, the team is already considering a new player

After four years of historic collaboration, Party Astronauts announced the breakup with the team's founder Joshua "PwnAlone" Pigue. PwnAlone played a crucial role in the team, participating in competitions such as ESL Pro League Season 15 and PGL Major Antwerp: American RMR 2022.

The 32-year-old player is already looking for new opportunities after his departure. On his Twitter, PwnAlone expressed a desire to continue competitive activities and improve the future team, expressing readiness to take on the role of a shooter or another position.

Meanwhile, Party Astronauts are actively preparing for future competitions. According to Dust2.us, the team has already found a replacement for PwnAlone in Adam "WolfY" Andersson, a Swedish-American sniper who recently left BOSS. This move is part of Party Astronauts' strategy for preparing for 2024 and the closed qualifier for PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR. Additionally, the team is considering the possibility of bringing back Hunter "Lucid" Tucker as the head coach, although this transition is not yet final.

Expected lineup of Party Astronauts:

  • Ben "ben1337" Smith
  • Connor "chop" Sullivan
  • Danny "cxzi" Strzleczyk
  • Wesley "viz" Harris
  • Adam "WolfY" Andersson
  • Luke "Viathan" Carstens (coach)
