9z, Imperial and Fluxo to play at RES Latin American Series 1

During the period from February 12th to 25th, the online tournament RES Latin American Series 1 will take place, which has gathered participants from across the region and boasts a prize pool of $50,000. Organizers also provide teams with the opportunity to earn RLG Points, which will be used for invitations to future tournaments.

In the tournament's group stage, a double elimination format (GSL) with four groups of four teams will be used. All group stage matches will be played in a Bo3 format, and the top two teams from each group will continue on to the playoffs. The playoffs will be the decisive stage of the tournament, where teams will compete in a single elimination format. All playoff matches will also be played in a Bo3 format.

Among the 16 participants, standout teams such as 9z, Fluxo, BESTIA, and Imperial elevate the tournament's status in the region. Some of them will be playing at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: American RMR, which kicks off in early March, so practice at RES Latin American Series 1 could prove very beneficial.
