"It feels like a dream" - ropz comments on FaZe Clan's results in CS2

FaZe Clan player Robin 'ropz' Kool shared his thoughts on his team's results after transitioning to Counter-Strike 2 tournaments. The Estonian esports athlete shared his opinion in an interview with HLTV, following the victory at the CS2 Asia Championships 2023.

Kool noted that such success in the new version of Valve's shooter seems "unreal" to him. He also compared the current situation to last year's successful period for FaZe Clan.

It feels very unreal to be in the situation we are in right now. It's like a bit of a dream. You see the new game coming out, and everyone wants to be the best, and everyone wants to show up in the new game. It means so much to us that we're actually doing it, and it's been such a long time coming for us. We've had some rough patches, and winning right off the bat is kind of a similar storyline as last year.

ropz shared what allows him to play well. Earlier, he became the MVP at the CS2 Asia Championships 2023. More about this can be read in the article.

I think whenever I have an idea or something that I want to do in the game, I have the freedom to do so. And that goes along with saying that my team means everything to me. They are the ones who enable me to play like this, and they're the ones who give me the space on the map when I am lurking, making some plays, and sometimes taking initiative. So I think we have a really good chemistry in where we are right now, and it feels great to be performing like this individually.
