Top 10 best players of ESL Pro League Season 17

ESL Pro League Season 17 has come to an end, with FaZe becoming the event's champion, and now it's time to sum up the tournament. Who showed good individual play? Who became the best player? You will find out in this article.

10th place - David frozen Čerňanský

frozen is opening our top 10. His team, MOUZ, made it to the quarterfinals, which is a very good result for the team. And as usual, frozen turned out to be the best player on the team. His average rating was 6.6.

9th place - Martin stavn Lund

Heroic disappointed their fans at EPL Season 17, but stavn was not part of the disappointment - the Dane once again showed excellent performance. The best rifler on Heroic finished the tournament with a rating of 6.7, even though the team only made it to the quarterfinals, losing to Natus Vincere. But stavn didn't let his team down and in that match, he earned a rating of 6.5. In addition to his overall excellent performance, stavn became the best player in the tournament in terms of trades - an average of 0.215 per round. The Dane had a good tournament.

8th place - Audric JACKZ Jug

Such a high position for JACKZ will be surprising to those viewers who missed the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 17. At this tournament, JACKZ joined Vitality as a stand-in, and no one expected him to perform at such a high level. However, the Frenchman exceeded all expectations and not only showed a good performance but also became the second-best player on Vitality. His average rating was 6.8, and JACKZ also entered the top seven entry fraggers. The player clearly deserves a place on the Tier-1 scene.

7th place - Russell Twistzz Van Dulken

The seventh player on our list is the finalist of the tournament - Twistzz. The Canadian is still holding his ground and remains one of the best riflers on the scene, which is why FaZe continues to be at the top of all teams. Twistzz's average rating at EPL S17 was 6.5.

6th place - Oleksandr s1mple Kostyliev

The best player among those who didn't make it to the event final is s1mple. Despite the fact that NAVI hasn't looked like a championship team lately, the team showed good gameplay in the playoffs of this tournament and made it to the semifinals, largely thanks to s1mple. The NAVI sniper got back in shape after IEM Katowice 2023 and finished ESL Pro League with a rating of 6.7, making him one of the best players of the tournament. If other players on the team support s1mple, then NAVI could return to the top of tier-1 tournaments.

5th place - Mathieu ZywOo Herbaut

ZywOo could have become the best player of the event since his individual performance was at an incredible level, and he outperformed all competitors by far. The sniper finished the tournament with an average rating of 7.5, but Vitality couldn't make it past the top 8, which pushed ZywOo to fifth place in our ranking. In addition to this, the Frenchman entered the top five entry fraggers and surprised everyone with his play with automatic weapons, as he is currently in 31st place for AWP kills.

4th place - Helvijs broky Saukants

Right in the upper half of the top players list of ESL Pro League is broky - one of the best snipers of the tournament and the entire scene right now. The FaZe Clan player finished the tournament with an average rating of 6.6. He also became the 6th best sniper, and if you exclude teams that didn't make it to the top 8, then broky will become the best AWP-er of the tournament.

3rd place - Dmitry sh1ro Sokolov

Let's not forget about one of the main stars of Cloud9 at this tournament. Sh1ro was talked about by all analysts since the group stage, and the sniper really showed the performance that almost no one expected from him. After a bunch of problems at Cloud9, sh1ro was able to gain such form that almost single-handedly pulled his team to the final of a major tier 1 LAN. A huge number of rounds with two or more kills, top 7 for trades, 13th position in the list of best AWP and top 3 for triple kills - all this allowed him to become the third best player of the tournament.

2nd place - Sergey Ax1Le Rychtorov

The best rifler of Cloud9 made it to the top 2. Ax1Le was able to return to his previous level after major setbacks of the team and showed his usual confident game, for which most fans know him. Overall, Cloud9 was able to fix everything at this event, and this is evidenced not only by the team's overall result, but also by the individual performances of players. Ax1Le's average rating was 6.8.

1st place - Robin ropz Kool

And the top spot in our rating belongs to the best player of FaZe Clan at ESL Pro League - ropz. The Estonian not only showed an incredibly competent game, but also won several incredibly important rounds for his team. His 4 kills with USP-S against Natus Vincere in the tournament semifinals are worth mentioning.

Ropz lit up ESL Pro League and has been delighting us with his performances for several years in a row. His average rating was 6.8.
