RpK, shox and JACKZ will play in the same team at La Coupe 2023

Several legendary French players will feature in team VERYGOLD at La Coupe 2023. This Counter-Strike 2 tournament, taking place in Paris, offers a prize pool of €3,500 ($3,835) and aims to popularize CS2 in France.

Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux, Cedric "RpK" Guipouy, Richard "shox" Papillon, Audric "JACKZ" Jug, and Sebastien "KRL" Perez will represent team VERYGOLD at La Coupe 2023. None of the legendary quartet has officially retired yet, but only JACKZ is currently actively playing on the professional scene for TSM.

La Coupe 2023 will bring together 12 teams and will have an entertainment character, focusing on promoting the new version of the game. VERYGOLD, which includes legends of the French CS scene, promises to be one of the main attractions of the tournament.

In addition to VERYGOLD, teams GenOne and Prodigy will participate in the tournament. For Prodigy, Martin "STYKO" Styk, Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen, Jerome "jEROME" Coupez, Alvar "consss" Rämman, and another sniper replacing Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak, who fell ill, will play.

Interestingly, last year in the final of these teams, the sniper for Prodigy was Vitality star Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut. With the participation of these outstanding players, La Coupe 2023 promises to be an exciting event that will attract the attention of CS2 fans in France and beyond.
