Rumors: Monte are testing MistR to replace BOROS

Belarusian insider Harumi reported a new candidate for the Ukrainian organization Monte in his Telegram channel.

According to Harumi, it is Danish player Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen, who is currently part of the academy team of the Danish organization Astralis.

MONTE: +MistR — test

We remind you that the new player, who came for the test, will replace Muhammad "BOROS" Malhas, who joined Falcons Esports in June 2023.

At the moment, the team lineup looks like this:

  • Vladimir "Woro2k" Veletnyuk
  • Sergey "DemQQ" Demchenko
  • Shimon "kRaSna" Mrozek
  • Victor "sdy" Orudzhev (captain)
  • Sergey "lmbt" Bejanov (coach)

What is MistR famous for?

It is safe to say that at the age of 19, he has already been through the tier-2 scene in CS:GO. He has managed to earn $32,480! Also, he won more than one tier-2 tournament:

Also, along with the main Astralis team, he played in the BLAST Premier: Fall European Showdown 2022 and took second place.

However, if we compare the statistics of BOROS and MistR, with such a replacement, Monte will definitely lose firepower, as Muhammad "BOROS" Malhas surpasses Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen in almost all the most important indicators.

We remind you that earlier, the Monte organization tested French player Audric "JACKZ" Jug. This inside information was also given by Harumi, after which the team captain sdy displayed the French flag in his tweet.
