SELVA and Sharks won the ESL Challenger Jonköping 2023: South American Open Qualifier and advanced to the closed qualifiers.
In the final matches of their respective brackets, SELVA and Sharks defeated O PLANO and Solid, respectively. In addition, the tournament was attended by such eminent teams as Imperial, paiN, and Fluxo, all of which were eliminated in the quarterfinals. The first lost to Boca Juniors, the second to UNO MILLE, and third to Meta.
In addition to these two teams, 9z and MIBR will also play at ESL Challenger Jonköping 2023: South American Qualifier, as they received direct invitations to the event. Only one of the four teams qualifies for the LAN stage.

ESL Challenger Jonköping 2023 will be held from November 24 to 26 in Sweden and has a prize pool of $100,000. Besides, the winner of the tournament will get a slot in ESL Pro League Season 19. Monte, GamerLegion, Virtus.pro, Eternal Fire, Nouns, and Looking4Org will play at the event.
