SENSEi and Three Other Players Receive Ban from ESIC

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has suspended four Ukrainian players from participating in Counter-Strike 2 tournaments. Information about the bans appeared on the organization's official website.

Who Received the Ban?

The ban was given to former Akuma and IKLA player Dmitry SENSEi Shvorak, as well as to Arthur DarkS1DE Kravchenko, Maxim THRN Semenov, and Daniil nat1ve Bakin, who previously played for the MAJESTY team. ESIC representatives found evidence of numerous violations of the organization's anti-corruption code by these esports players.

Ban Duration

The statement specifies that SENSEi was involved in match-fixing during his time with Project X, and DarkS1DE, THRN, and nat1ve were involved during their time with MAJESTY. For the next two years, they will not be able to participate in competitions held by tournament operators cooperating with ESIC.

ESIC's investigation included analysis of games, examination of witness data, and betting patterns. Each individual was charged with rule violations. None of the banned players responded to the notification from ESIC.
