The BLAST The Draft: Season 1 tournament, bringing together teams from India and Pakistan, has gained another remarkable participant - professional Counter-Strike player Richard "shox" Papillon. Alongside other stars of the game, such as Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács and Adam "friberg" Friberg, he will participate in this event.
The tournament consists of a qualifying stage, where 64 teams from India and Pakistan will compete for a spot in the group stage. In the group stages, six teams from each region will play in a round-robin format, with only the top three teams from both regions advancing to the final "Super 6" stage. This stage of the tournament will take place in Malaysia at a LAN event, where each team will compete alongside their gaming legend.
BLAST The Draft: Season 1 features a double-elimination format among six teams, with a total prize pool of $50,000. This tournament will not only be a battle between teams but also a clash of legendary players who will showcase their skills in the fight for supremacy. The names of three more legends participating in the tournament are expected to be announced later.
