Heroic's CS2 team was knocked out of the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 tournament by paIN, who failed to show their best Counter-Strike, losing two maps in a row in a best-of-three series.

In an interview with HLTV, Rasmus sjuush Beck shared his thoughts on why, in his opinion, the team was unable to defeat their opponents.

On Nuke, we had a 4v2, we knew what the plan was, but we were too afraid of acting on the plan, of taking that extra step, or just taking some chances now and then, pushing together. There were so many things we could have done, but we just stood still and let them take the space they wanted.

sjuush also pointed out that the team still faces challenges due to the "different CS schools" represented on the roster. Integrating young players with other CS backgrounds has created obstacles.

Despite the difficulties, sjuush is optimistic about the team's future. He notes the progress made since joining Heroic and believes the team is laying a strong foundation.
