Spiidi has joined Sprout in the role of development coach

Today, former professional player Timo "Spiidi" Richter joined the German organization Sprout as a development coach. This was announced through the official Twitter of the organization.

Interestingly, on December 31st, the player announced the end of his Counter-Strike career. The main reason was that he lost his passion as a player, no longer enjoying official matches as before, and no longer liking to put in efforts aimed at reaching the top.

This means that his passion for Counter-Strike is still there and he will continue to delight us with his crazy preparations.

Sprout Esports welcomes Timo "Spiidi" Richter as the new performance improvement coach. Sprout is pleased to announce the return of one of the most popular German players, first generation Sproutling, Timo 'Spiidi' Richter.

  

Spiidi, known for his achievements as a nine-time German champion and Major participant, will work closely with their current coaching staff.

Sprout notes that after his brilliant career in professional CS, where he achieved the status of the most successful player in CS:GO in terms of winning rounds in clutches, Spiidi takes on a new role as a coach, opening a new chapter in his esports career.

Considering his unprecedented experience playing on a variety of maps and rounds, Spiidi's main task is to help in the personal and professional development of Sprout's young talents, both in the main and academy teams. His deep experience will be used to prepare new contenders for the Major.

Previously, Spiidi had played for the Sprout team for four years, during the period from 2017 to 2022.

It is not yet known what the first championship will be for the updated team, but it will surely be the qualifiers for the first Counter-Strike 2 major - PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.
