Astralis player Martin stavn Lund shared his expectations for the closed qualifiers for the RMR to PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 in CS2, as well as the team's ambitions. The Danish esports player discussed this in an interview with the club's press.
Lund noted that Astralis' main goal is to qualify for the RMR. He is also excited about the possibility of playing at the major in front of a home crowd.
The expectations and ambitions of Astralis lie in qualifying for the RMR tournament. Good teams will play in the closed qualifiers. However, our goal is to reach the European RMR tournament. PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will take place in our home country, and such a prestigious championship cannot pass us by.Getting the chance to play at the major on Danish soil would be a historic event, and none of us have faced this before. It's the next big thing for all Danish players. When we, the Danes, previously played at the Royal Arena, we all felt enormous support from the fans, so the chance to play at the major at home would mean everything to me. Astralis received a direct invitation to the closed qualifiers for the RMR to PGL Major Copenhagen 2024. The qualification will take place from January 18 to 20 online. Teams will compete for 21 slots in the RMR.
