BLAST announced the postponement of matches by 45 minutes.
The first group B matches of the European RMR BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 will start 45 minutes later, BLAST announced. The reason was the lateness of the players - they were still getting to the arena.
Another problem from BLAST?
It would seem that group A has already ended, and now there will be no problems because they already got the necessary experience. However, the first day will start with a delay. Of course, you can blame the players, but the tournament operator is responsible for the transportation, again a complication from BLAST's side.
And the problem that arose now is very strange. The start of the matches was set for 10 a.m. Copenhagen time, and therefore, the TO knew precisely about the traffic problems and had to take care of them in advance. And now, some players will not just arrive at the arena late but will not have time to communicate - they will immediately need to sit down at the computer and quickly tune in. This may affect the results of the first matches.
Is it worth waiting for big problems?
This is already the fourth RMR tournament for BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, and the second European group is good news because the European RMR tournament was the best in terms of organization. Most likely, some minor technical problems await viewers and players, but nothing serious should happen.
Group A of the European RMR went well, the operator gained experience, and probably group B will perform better. You can follow the tournament here.
