The Witchers and EYEBALLERS advanced to the second day of play at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 - interim results of the fourth qualification day

On January 14, 2024, at 18:00 Kyiv time, the last open qualification for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 for the European region began. Today all matches have already finished, so it's time to summarize.

It should be noted that this qualification, due to the huge number of applicants, was divided by the organizers into two groups, namely Group A and Group B. Now we will look at the results of Group A, as Group B will only start on January 15 at 18:00.

In total, 815 teams registered for the PGL Major | EU Open Qualifier #4 — Bracket A. To advance to the second day, teams had to win 7 matches in a row. Among the main contenders for further progression, the following teams should be noted:

• EYEBALLERS
• Espionage
• ALTERNATE aTTaX
• Verdant
• The Witchers
• 500
• FTW
• Anonymo Esports

Currently, the teams are at the 1/32 stage of qualification. This means that only 4 more matches are left to win to advance to the closed qualification. The matches will start on January 16 at 17:00.

Let's remember that from the previous qualifications, the following teams have already advanced to the closed part: ex-ThunderFlash,  KOI, Fnatic, Entropiq, Heroic, SINNERS Esports, IKLA, Pera Esports, ECSTATIC, OG, Permitta Esports, sYnck.     

The closed qualification for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 will start on January 18, 2024. It will be divided into two groups А and В. Only 8 teams will advance from this stage.
