Thorin criticized G2

Thorin criticized G2

Well-known British CS commentator Duncan Thorin Shields did not hold back his criticism of G2 Esports after their disappointing performance at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.

G2 were considered the favorites of the group, but again fell short of expectations. Thorin questioned Rasmus HooXi Nielsen future as a player, claiming that the team's failures could negatively impact his career.

HooXi was brought into G2 to add strategic depth to the team, but the team's results did not improve under his leadership. Thorin pointed out that G2 previously relied on the individual skill of players like Nikola NiKo Kovač and Nemanja huNter Kovač to win matches. Their reduced firepower calls into question HooXi's strategic influence.

Let us remind you that PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 takes place from March 17 to 31 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The teams are competing for a prize pool of $1.25 million. The schedule and results of the tournament can be followed by following this link.
