Thorin questions the legitimacy of NaVi's victory at the major

British esports analyst Duncan Thorin Shields criticized Natus Vincere (NaVi) on his X(Twitter), questioning the legitimacy of their recent victory at the major.

Thorin presented a hypothetical scenario in which he himself is the coach of NaVi. In his mind, he would motivate star player Oleksandr s1mple Kostyljev to train hard, and then evaluate the team's performance at the next three LAN tournaments.

If I'm Na'Vi I tell s1mple to get grinding now and then I play out th next three LANs. If we don't win or make finals runs in a couple I bring him in to replace someone. They won a major with the lowest round win % in history. It was a fluke.

This statement implies a lack of confidence in NaVi's current roster, suggesting that s1mple may be the only player guaranteed to keep his place. Thorin further fueled the debate by calling their Major win a "fluke", citing their statistically low round winning percentage.

NaVi fans will certainly be divided on Thorin's comments. Only time will tell if NaVi can repeat their success at the Major and cement their dominance in Counter-Strike.
