Top 10 best players at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR

All RMR qualifications for the first major Counter-Strike 2 event, PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, have come to an end. Well, for us, this means that the most spectacular show will start very soon. But first, let's conduct a brief analysis of the past RMR qualifications.

In this material, we will look at the top-10 best players of PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR. In this ranking, we will consider players from both Group A and B.

#10 - Alejandro mopoz Fernandes

The rifler from team KOI, Alejandro mopoz Fernandes, participated in PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A. Overall, like his entire team, the guys greatly surprised the Counter-Strike community, as the relatively unknown organization KOI qualified for the first major in Counter-Strike 2.

Not only did they qualify, but they did so with a 3:1 score, defeating 3DMAX9 Pandas, and Fnatic along the way. However, they stumbled against NAVI. Mopoz's average rating over five played maps was 6.8! Yet, apart from the number of multikills, mopoz did not rank top in any other metrics. His multikill stats look as follows:

  • 3 quadro kills per round
  • 4 triple kills per round
  • 15 double kills per round

#9 - Lotan Spinx Giladi

The rifler from Team Vitality, Lotan Spinx Giladi, ranks ninth in the list of the best players at the European RMR. Team Vitality played in PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR B. Without much trouble, they qualified for the major with a 3:1 score, defeating ENCEHeroic, and GamerLegion along the way, but losing a game to Cloud9.

Throughout the tournament, Spinx demonstrated excellent mechanical skills, and his shooting was top-notch. His average rating over 7 played maps was 6.8, which was the third-best result of the tournament.

However, this is not the only highlight. Spinx also ranked eighth among the best players with an AK-47, his rating with this rifle being 0.378.

But honestly, for Spinx, this is a typical result. It will be interesting to see how the team performs at the first major for CS2 on stage, if they make it, of course.

#8 - Michele ewjerkz Magalhaes

The 23-year-old rifler from team SAW, Michele ewjerkz Magalhaes, ranks eighth in our rating. Team SAW, of course, surprised everyone at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A.

Not only did the team start their journey to this major from the closed qualifiers, but they also made it through the RMR. And how did they do it? They lost their first two games but then made an incredible comeback, winning three games in a row, which qualified them for the major with a 3:2 score.

All thanks to the incredible performance of ewjerkz, as his rating over 7 maps was 6.9! He also ranked seventh among the best players with an AK-47, his rating with this assault rifle being 0.347. Let's just add his multikill stats:

  • 3 quad kills per round
  • 4 triple kills per round
  • 17 double kills per round

#7 - Yevgeny FL1T Lebedev

The seventh place in our ranking of the best players of the European RMR goes to the rifler from team Virtus.pro, Yevgeny FL1T Lebedev. All you need to know is that Armenians.pro qualified for the major in Copenhagen with a 3:0 score through PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A.

And FL1T's average rating over 4 maps was 7.0.

#6 - Helvijs broky Saukants

The sniper from FaZe Clan, Helvijs broky Saukants, took the 6th place in our rating. FaZe Clan qualified for the major from PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A with a 3:1 score. And here's how their matches went:

We all know broky as a more passive sniper, who doesn't play for highlights, but rather focuses on the precision of his shots. As a result, his kills often don't get caught by the observer. Despite this, his average rating over 6 played maps was 7.0! And in the ranking of the best snipers of the championship, he took fifth place. His rating with AWP was 0.353.

Moreover, throughout this championship, he managed to achieve 1

ACE in the match against Eternal Fire:

#5 - Joakim jkaem Myrbostad

Opening the top-5 is the rifler from team Apeks, Joakim jkaem Myrbostad, whose average rating over 6 maps was 7.1, making it the second-best result among all players of the championship. Apeks participated in PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR B.

For many, it was a surprise that Apeks qualified for the first major in Counter-Strike 2 history with a 3:1 score.

In turn, jkaem ranked fifth in headshot kills of his opponents. He hit the head with a 52.1% probability. But that's not bad, as he became the best player of the tournament with an AK-47, his rating with this rifle being 0.515! Like our previous hero, jkaem also managed to achieve one ACE in the match against team OG:

#4 - Nikola NiKo Kovac

And as always, no rating is complete without the rifler from team G2 Esports, Nikola NiKo Kovac. This time, he took the fourth place in the top of the best players of the European RMR. For three played maps, his average rating was 7.2!

G2 participated in PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A, where they easily dealt with all their opponents and qualified for the major with a 3:0 score. Moreover, they didn't lose a single map at the RMR.

As usual, NiKo also made it into the top-5 best entry fraggers of the championship with a rating of 0.167. He also ranked seventh in the best headshooters list, destroying his opponents in the head with a 52.5% probability! And just like our previous heroes, Nikola didn't lag behind and also made one ACE in the match against team FaZe Clan:

#3 - Pyotr fame Bolyshov

The rifler from team Virtus.pro, Pyotr fame Bolyshov, took third place in our rating of the best players of the European RMR. All you need to know is that Armenians.pro qualified for the major in Copenhagen with a 3:0 score through PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A. And the average rating of fame over 4 played maps was 7.6.

#2 - Ilya m0NESY Osipov

The sniper from team G2 Esports, Ilya m0NESY Osipov, as always, showed a stunning result in the past tournament, for which he received second place in our rating. The average rating of Ilya for 3 played maps at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A was 7.9.

It's also worth adding that he became the best AWP of the tournament, and his statistics with the sniper rifle were 0.458. Moreover, he became the best player of the tournament with a Desert Eagle, as his rating with this pistol was 0.0069.

Although Ilya didn't distinguish himself with an ace, he still made several multikills:

  • 2 quadro kills per round
  • 3 triple kills per round
  • 18 double kills per round

#1 - Mathieu ZywOo Herbaut

The sniper from team Team Vitality, Mathieu ZywOo Herbaut, is the best player of the European RMR! The current MVP of the major played one of the best tournaments in his career. His rating over 7 maps was 7.9, making it the best result among all players of the championship.

Of course, it's worth considering the fact that team Team Vitality only lost two maps to team Cloud9 throughout the tournament and eventually qualified for the major with a 3:1 score. But let's get back to the French killing machine.

ZywOo also became the best opening fragger of the entire championship, his rating being 0.197:

An interesting fact is that ZywOo ranked second in the percentage of headshot kills of opponents. This indicator equals 0.5 for the Frenchman, only surpassed by the star of Team Spirit, Danil donk Kryshkovets, whose rating is 0.58. And what does this tell us? ZywOo, with the transition to CS2, stopped taking the AWP as often? Since 50% of his kills were headshots. Quite interesting statistics.

Despite Team Vitality playing only 7 maps in this tournament, ZywOo managed to achieve 2 ACES, and now let's take a look at them. The first happened on the map Overpass against Heroic:

By the way, Team Vitality won this match with a score of 13:3. And the second was against GamerLegion on Nuke. This match was

also an easy walk for Team Vitality; they won with a score of 13:2:

It's worth noting that 16 teams played at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR B, but only 8 of them advanced. The major will start on March 17, 2024. The prize pool will be $1,250,000.
