Vexite: "We are trialling coaches"

Declan "Vexite" Portelli, Grayhound player and one of the most promising young players in Australia, revealed that his team is currently testing a new coach. The Australian side has been playing without a coach since February.

In the new episode of The Truth CS:GO Podcast, Vexite said that Grayhound is already practising with a new coach. However, he noted that no contract has been signed, and the organization is still negotiating with several people.

Grayhound plans to sign an agreement before the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR. Declan also noted that he could not reveal the nationality of the new coach, but this is someone they definitely respect.

We are in talks with some people, and we are looking to get something sorted. And hopefully before the next event, which I believe is RMR, we are ready. We practiced with this person. No one is actually signed yet, we are talking to people. I can't say [whether it's Australian or European], but this is definitely someone we respect.

The former Grayhound coach was David "Kingfisher" Kingsford, he left the team in February this year. David is now coaching another Australian team, VERTEX.

After Kingfisher left the team, Grayhound did not achieve significant results in international tournaments. Nevertheless, the team managed to enter the BLAST.tv Major Paris 2023, where they placed 17th-19th and gained two wins.
