Victory Zigzag and TheMongolZ to miss BLAST Premier Fall Showdown

Tournament organizer BLAST has announced that teams Victory Zigzag and TheMongolZ will be missing the upcoming regional qualifiers of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.

Victory Zigzag was disqualified from BLAST Premier: Fall European Showdown 2023 due to an ESIC investigation. Reminder: former team player Joel "joel" Holmlund was banned from playing matches for betting against his own team. The team's coach, Ivan “Hardwell” Oleksiyev, had to replace the player. However, he too received a FACEIT ban for using cheats.

Instead of Victory Zigzag, Alliance (ex-416Olsk), who finished second in the Pelaajat.com Nordic Masters Fall 2023, will play in the qualifiers.

TheMongolZ will miss the BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2023 due to visa issues. They will be replaced by Party Astronauts, who came in second place in the North American qualifiers.

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown is the qualifiers for the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023, which will take place in Copenhagen from November 22 to 26. The prize pool for the event is $450,000. NIP, Heroic, NAVI, FaZe, Vitality, and Astralis have already secured their participation in the event.
