Post-match comments

After the match, the players from G2 made some brief statements before officially going on a well-deserved vacation. The first one was from the team captain, Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen:

That's it for us this season. Overall, I'm satisfied with winning two trophies in my first year with G2, but right now, I'm just disappointed. Thank you for the support. I apologize for the lack of results after IEM Katowice 2023. We will work hard to achieve more in the next season!

Then, the team's sniper, Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, joined in:

We couldn't gather ourselves towards the end of the season and lost the final championship. We're going on vacation, but we don't want to; we really want to win. See you soon.

BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023 is taking place from June 7th to June 11th in Washington, USA. The teams are competing for a prize pool of $425,000 and a slot in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023. You can follow the schedule and tournament results through the link.
