VP pick up their first EPL S14 victory against Sinners

A much needed victory.

Virtus.pro, who started ESL Pro League Season 14 with two straight losses, looked to turn things around after the break, as they face off against Sinners Esports, who beat G2 Esports but lost to Complexity Gaming earlier in the event.

Going to Vertigo, one of Czech team favourite maps, it was all about CIS squad, as VP finished their defensive efforts with twelve rounds at the half time. Offence did not take long, as few minutes later VP took a lead, “16-7”. Despite Sinners picking up multiple opening kills, VP came back in one round after another, switching sides with another big lead, “11-4”. Czech team did not tap out, as they reduced the deficit, but a pair of late rounds pushed Virtus.pro to their first victory at EPL.

Tomorrow VP will clash with Complexity Gaming in a rematch from IEM Cologne 2021, while Sinners are going to try and become the first team to beat OG at the event so far.
