Virtus.pro will compete in EPL S18 thanks to their victory at ESL Challenger Katowice 2023
Virtus.pro took first place at ESL Challenger Katowice 2023, defeating ENCE in the final with a score of 2-1. The victory earned the team a slot in ESL Pro League S18 and a prize of $50,000.
The course of the final initially seemed quite bleak for ENCE due to a devastating defeat on Overpass (16-4). However, the Finnish club responded by winning on Anubis (16-14). Unfortunately for the Europeans, they surrendered the comeback to VP on the decisive Mirage, despite having a 13-8 advantage.

Just a reminder, ESL Challenger Katowice 2023 took place from June 9th to 11th in a studio format with eight teams participating. The tournament featured a prize pool of $100,000 and slots for ESL Pro League Season 18. The upcoming EPL season will start at the end of August, and out of the 32 participating teams, 25 are currently known.
