"We couldn't connect with the team and we couldn't make it work" - REZ gave the main reasons why Brollan and hampus left Ninjas in Pyjamas

Today, the rifler for the Ninjas in Pyjamas team, Fredrik "REZ" Sterner, explained why the team lost two Swedish players, Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin and Hampus "hampus" Poser, and also shared his expectations for the reshuffle frenzy in Counter-Strike 2 rosters.

It is recalled that not long ago, the Ninjas in Pyjamas team was undergoing significant turbulence, changing players almost every two weeks. But it seems that everything has now stabilized, and the team has found replacements for Brollan and hampus in the form of alex and es3tag.

REZ describes the situation as follows:

We had quite a tough period in NiP for a long time. We couldn't connect with the team and make it work. It seems that there were always some problems. The organization decided to remove hampus and Brollan, that's how it goes. If some players can't work with the team, if they can't find a connection, then they leave. That's how it works in all clubs. ALEX joined us, and we've already been on bootcamp together for three days. He's a very nice person, can connect with everyone, insanely happy, and I think he fits well into the team. It's very important to be a team in CS, to be together, not separate.

He also commented on the situation with the mass reshuffles in Counter-Strike 2:

I think we need to move on. There are a lot of international teams right now. Everyone understands that it's hard to find a full lineup consisting only of players of one nationality when everyone around is only getting stronger. There are so many good players on the market now that you have to choose practically from all countries if you want to be the best in the world.

It is reminded that after all these changes, the roster of the Ninjas in Pyjamas team now looks as follows:

  • Kristian k0nfig Wienecke
  • Alejandro alex Masanet
  • Patrick es3tag Hansen
  • Fredrik REZ Sterner
  • Daniil headtr1ck Valitov
  • Daniel djL Narancic (coach)
  • Ludvig Brollan Brolin (reserve)
  • Hampus  hampus Poser (reserve)

At the moment, the entire team has arrived in China for the CS2 Asia Championships 2023, where they will play their first match on November 9 against the team FaZe Clan.
