When deciding who to replace, Astralis chose between Staehr and b0RUP

Astralis' CS2 coach, Peter casle⁠ Ardenshield, shared information on how the club decided which players to change. The Danish coach discussed this in an interview with the HLTV portal.

According to him, replacing Christian Buzz Andersen with Jakob Jabbi Nygaard was obvious. What really needed consideration was who Martin stavn Lund would replace - Johannes b0RUP Borup or Viktor Staehr Shtehr.

I think Buzz and jabbi play a lot of the same positions, so for us, it was more like Staehr or b0RUP. Staehr has so much potential. He hasn't shown it yet, but I see it every day in training. He has a lot more to show. We only have four days of practice but I can see already that the new roles fit him very well.

casle fully trusts Staehr. He is confident that the esports athlete will overcome difficulties and realize his potential.

For Staehr, the most difficult one is going to be the CT side one. He will have to take some time to get used to the new roles. stavn is playing a lot of rotations like in Heroic. For Staehr it's a huge task, but I think he's up for it. He's a pretty good player actually, pretty intelligent as well. I think he will manage.
