Vitality's sniper Matthieu “ZywOo” Erbo earned another MVP title this year - the French esports athlete became the best player of Gamers8 2023, where his team took first place. The player's rating at the end of the championship was 6.6.
It's worth noting that, although ZywOo started the event with not the highest numbers in statistics, he managed to make a comeback in the final. Guy “NertZ” Iluz and Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia also contended for the MVP title, but the Frenchman surpassed both in a head-to-head confrontation, making 66 frags.
Matthieu's exceptional lethality is also evidenced by his number of multi-kills at Gamer8. Over 10 maps, ZywOo scored 16 triples and 37 doubles. Recall that this year ZywOo earned his third MVP medal - earlier he showed the best performance at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 and IEM Rio 2023. Whether he can continue this streak at ESL Pro League Season 18 remains to be seen - the first match for Vitality in the upcoming event is on August 30th.
