autimatic rejected NRG and announced a career break

Renowned rifler Timothy "autimatic" Ta has announced his decision to take a short break from competitive performances in Counter-Strike 2. Additionally, the American has declined an offer to join the newly formed NRG team.

This decision came as a surprise to many in the community who expected to see him in the NRG lineup, considering his stable performance at the international level, unaffected by Evil Geniuses' low team performance in 2023. Autimatic, whose contract with the organization ends in January, told HLTV that he plans to take a 1-3 month break from competitions.

He expressed a desire to rest and fully commit to his next team. The end of his contract with Evil Geniuses makes him a free agent without the need to pay a transfer fee.

My contract with EG ends in January and I feel it’s best that I take a short 1-3 month break from competing so that I’m able to give my next team my best.
said Timothy "autimatic" Ta

This career break means that autimatic may become available for teams looking to strengthen their lineup after the conclusion of the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, scheduled for April 1st. Autimatic's decision opens up new opportunities for his career and provides time for recuperation before the next stage in the world of Counter-Strike.
