Bookmakers attacking? Fear complains about DDoS attacks in the closed qualifiers for CCT North Europe Series 7

The captain of the mix Benched Heroes, Rodion “fear” Smyk, shared an incident from the closed qualifiers for the CCT North Europe Series 7, where he faced large-scale DDoS attacks during the match against Aurora Young Blud.

The Ukrainian esports player claimed that he couldn't avoid the attacks even after changing his internet provider. Due to them, the player experienced a high percentage of packet loss and issues with sound in TeamSpeak. The situation worsened every time the team made a comeback, which led Smyk to suspect the involvement of bookmakers.

They can't leak my IP twice in a row when we changed the CCT TeamSpeak to smooya's TeamSpeak. Someone is leaking my IP, I had a second internet connection, no one knew about it.

Later, Rodion had suspicions about his Croatian teammate, Gabriel “Šego” Šego, due to the nature of his disconnections from the match amidst the DDoS and his individual gameplay. In the next qualifier match against Let us cook, the team played with Daniil “Sdaim” Tupovy, but the mix team lost again with a score of 1:2, leaving the qualifiers.
