CEO 9z Team: “dav1deuS is close to transferring to a Brazilian club”

CEO of 9z Team, Francisco 'Frankkaster' Postiglione, reported that the organization is in the process of negotiating the transfer of David 'dav1deuS' Tapia to a Brazilian club. In an interview, Postiglione stated that they are close to selling the esports player for ten times the price they bought him for.

At the moment, we are finalizing his [dav1deuS] sale to a very important team, and this makes us happy because we developed the player. We bought him for one price, and we are selling him for ten times more. For me, this is wonderful, as we are working to develop players, help them grow and be profitable assets for the club. dav1deuS is moving to a very interesting team that respects his decision to stay in Brazil. This is good for them [the new team], but not for us.

In early October, dav1deuS left the main lineup of 9z for personal reasons. Commenting on this decision, Tapia said that he finds it hard being away from home and he has to make decisions that adversely affect his mental health. As a result, he couldn't perform at the required level. Instead, the organization promoted academy player Matías 'HUASOPEEK' Ibañez to the main roster.

dav1deuS has been active in the professional Counter-Strike scene since 2019. He has played for clubs like RED CanidsPaquetá Gaming, and 9z. With the latter organization, the Chilean esports player participated in two CS:GO majors and several other major tournaments.
