Five CS2 players who deserve a better team after PGL Major Copenhagen 2024

PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 for CS2 is ongoing, and its decisive stage is in full swing. Nevertheless, there are at least five players who deserve a stronger team in the new competitive season — as stated in the article by Bo3.gg.

Pay attention to the fact that the players listed below have simply outgrown their current teams and need to take the next step in advancing their careers. In their current rosters, they have reached their maximum potential.

KSCERATO

We will not tire of repeating that Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato has long outgrown FURIA Esports. While the player himself may not think so and does not wish to leave his comfort zone, it does not mean he does not deserve to join a stronger team. The ceiling for the current FURIA roster is simply making it to the Major. Making it to the playoffs is not even considered.

Our proposal for KSCERATO's career development remains the same — a transfer to Team Liquid. With the organization's return to the American region, the Brazilian rifler won't have to drastically change his life. You might argue that he has previously declined a move to Liquid, however, it now seems more logical than ever. The deal would benefit everyone: Liquid would fill the gap for a primary fragger, KSCERATO would finally have the chance to compete for trophies, and FURIA would earn from the player's sale. An ideal scenario, isn't it?

mzinho

Perhaps the first player from the Asian region in a long time whom one would like to see in a European club lineup is Ayush "mzinho" Batbold. The 16-year-old Mongolian has been key to the historical achievements of The Mongolz organization. It was thanks to his individual performance that the team managed to reach the Elimination Stage at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and even put up a fight against the world's best teams there. mzinho finished the Major with an average rating of 1.6 and could be an excellent addition to many European teams.

isak

Like the previous candidate, 22-year-old Isak "isak" Fahlén has already outgrown his current club. Among all the players in GamerLegion, he stands out the most. He may not be the star player of the team, but his confident performances in clutch situations deserve respect. Conditional Ninjas in Pyjamas would not regret signing the Swede. He would also fit well with other teams that are partially or entirely planning to rebuild their rosters.

nilo

Linus "nilo" Bergman began his professional career at the age of 14, playing for various mixes. Even then, he faced pressure: many analysts and former professional players noted that the future of the Swedish CS scene lay in his hands. Whether this is true or not, we will find out very soon, as a player of his caliber is unlikely to stay in a team like Metizport for long.

In 2023, the rifler's rating was 6,4. Such a performance indeed gives Swedish fans hope that they may have their own star. It can be confidently said that all top organizations are keeping an eye on nilo, especially NiP. After the first Major in CS2 history, the Swedish talent is highly likely to receive an invitation to a top team.

r1nkle

Closing our list is B8 Esports player Artem "r1nkle" Moroz. There have been talks about the young Ukrainian sniper for quite some time, and frankly, he has already lingered in the team for a bit too long. Rumors from various sources link r1nkle to a transfer to NiP. It would be a good option for Artyom if the club decides to build a young roster rather than continue to rely on players sitting on the payroll. Even if a deal with NiP doesn't work out, r1nkle could be useful to almost any team.

All five players discussed in the article have real chances of changing clubs in the near future. However, this does not mean they will definitely do so. Nevertheless, they are certainly ready to step up in class.
