"floppy" back to Extra Salt, "Sonic" to take a break

Changes in the team.

After a promising start to the season, Extra Salt have mightily struggled in the recent times, not only missing on a pair of direct seeds to ESL Pro League, but losing a chance to play at either BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021 or PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

Expectedly due to those results, the North American team started looking for the solutions. Bringing back “floppy”, after his venture to VALORANT to play for Cloud9 Blue was nearly telegraphed a few weeks ago, when Extra Salt played with their old teammate during the one of the weekly CS:GO cups. Second change for the foreseeable future will be the absence of “Sonic”, who is going to take an extended break from competition to try and regain his motivation or make a next move.

With the state of CS:GO in North America being bleak at best, it remains to be seen for how long Extra Salt are going to be committed for the game. As of now, however, the squad is going to try and regain their spot at the top of the food chain.
