Fnatic eliminate BIG from IEM Winter 2021

The group stage of IEM Winter 2021 slowly comes to a close and more teams are leaving the tournament. This time BIG were eliminated by fnatic.

The first map was Inferno and it was picked by fnatic. However, the British team were outplayed on their pic. They couldn’t play their game and were destroyed by BIG with a score of 16-7.

But fnatic didn’t want to give up. Mirage was not their pick but in the first half, it looked like it. British team seized early advantage finishing the first half with a score of 13-2. BIG tried to come back but fnatic denied this attempt winning the map.

The third map was the closest game of the clash. BIG reached match point earlier but fnatic came back to transfer the game to the overtime. The British team finished the comeback winning the overtime with a score of 19-17.

While BIG are leaving the tournament, fnatic are waiting for the winner of the Gambit vs FaZe clash to battle for the spot in the playoff.
