Group C at ESL Pro League concludes

Group C concluded, and another three teams got their seeding in the playoff of ESL Pro League.

Playoff spots in Group C have been already distributed on day four, and the only thing to be decided was second and third places in the group. Players and Liquid were battling for second place as both teams had 3-1 on their record. On the last day of Group C, they faced each other.

Liquid picked Dust 2, and it was a disaster for the American team. Players annihilated their opponents on the CT side, winning 14 rounds out of 15. Liquid didn’t manage to fight back after the sides switched and lost their pick 16-1.

Players chose Overpass and weren’t so confident on that map. They only got seven rounds on the T side and were going to try showing better performance in the second half. And they managed to do it. The CIS teams didn’t give any chances to Liquid destroying them on the CT side. The map ended 16-11 in favor of Players.

The other two matches ended later. Movistar Riders took down Party Astronauts finishing the group stage with a 5-0 record, while BIG got their win over GODSENT.

Movistar Riders advance to the quarterfinal, while Players and Liquid get the spot in the first round of the playoff.
