MOUZ lost to Cloud9 in the quarterfinals of EPL S17

Cloud9 secured themselves a 3-4th place finish in the tournament.

The first quarterfinal of EPL S17 ended with Cloud9 defeating MOUZ 2-1. The European team was placed 5-8th and earned $35,000 in prize money.

Both teams won on their own map picks - MOUZ won 16-10 on Inferno and Cloud9 won 16-11 on Vertigo. On the deciding map, Mirage, nafany and his teammates led 11-1 on the attacking side, then let their opponents catch up to 12-10, but ultimately closed out the game with a 16-10 victory.

Ax1le stood out in particular, with an average damage per round of exactly 100. He also led his team in entries, kills, and rating.
