mouz NXT sweep BIG Academy, guaranteed top-3 at WePlay AL S1 LAN

First match in Kyiv and it did not disappoint.

Opening the LAN finals of the WePlay Academy League Season 1 were mouz NXT, arguably the strongest of the participants and BIG Academy, the team which surprised most during the regular season part of the event.

Starting on Dust2, it looked like the German squad had an upper hand, as they stole the second round with a force buy and led “8-4” during the half, but mouz NXT reduced the deficit to one before the switch. Another eco looked to be enough for Germans to run away with the map, but a timely deagle execute by European mix turned the tide around, as mouz NXT scored a “16-10” victory. Going to Ancient, BIG Academy had a “5-1 lead to start on their offence, but mouz NXT went to win nine in a row to have a five round advantage and then made a force buy work, going through the finish line with a yet another “16-10”, for a “2-0”.

Tomorrow mouz NXT will play for the spot in the grand final, while BIG Academy still have a shot to win it all through the lower part of the bracket.
